Community Shindig

Our Stone County Community Shindig is a hometown celebration for the whole family. This community party is a chance for us to come together, celebrate what we’ve accomplished in addressing some of Stone County’s most pressing challenges, and preview what comes next.

Stone County residents have been a huge part of shaping this coalition - this event is also a chance for us to say “thank you” for all the ways in which residents have shown up in support of our coalition. 

We’ll share the actions Our Stone County is working on around housing, water, and spaces and give everyone a chance to weigh in on what should happen next. 

There will be free food, giveaways, games, and kids activities, as well as community and nonprofit organizations to meet and plenty of time to visit with the community. 

Drop in anytime between 4 and 7 p.m. Stay for a few minutes or for the whole event. It’s a fun, family-friendly way to see what’s happening in Stone County, share your ideas, and celebrate our community together!
