Meet Our Coalition Manager

Sarah Moody

Sarah Moody is the Coalition Manager for Our Stone County. She brings together community leaders, businesses, nonprofits, and public partners to develop long-term strategies that advance priority areas identified by county residents.

Sarah has 30 years of experience in nonprofit, health, and philanthropic leadership, most of it in rural Missouri. She specializes in coalition building, strategic planning, and fostering partnerships that create lasting community outcomes. As a Stone County resident, Sarah is deeply committed to strengthening the community she calls home.

  • Our Stone County is guided by a coalition of local residents and community partners working together to shape the county’s future. The work is resident-driven. Local voices and lived experiences help guide decisions and ensure projects reflect the priorities of the community.

Our work is supported by organizations that help coordinate the effort and provide resources, including Neighbor, Stone County Health Department, and City Thread, along with many local institutions, nonprofits, businesses, and community members.

  • By working together, the coalition is tackling the challenges that matter most.

Supporting Access to Affordable Housing: Expanding housing options so families, workers, and older residents can continue to live and thrive in the community.

Improving Water Quality and Conservation: Protecting water quality and ensuring sustainable water systems for future generations.

Creating Community Gathering Spaces: Building welcoming places where residents can connect, host events, and enjoy time together.

  • We will continue to grow our community in ways that feel true to what makes Stone County special.

Together, we will ensure that Stone County remains a place people are proud to call home for generations. .
